Phantom III Driving Visibility.

I am attaching herewith two blueprints LeC.5366 and N.Sch.4947, which give all the dimensions concerned in fixing the height of the chassis frame above the ground with the car normally loaded, and should be glad if you would arrange to have all these dimensions checked up as far as possible on experimental Phantoms.

We have investigated the drawings, and according to our dimensions the frame heights should be 21.516 measured at the front, and 19.50 at the rear.

It should be possible to check these frameheights on an actual car standing on a flat bed, by measuring to the underpan at the front, and the rear shackle at the back.

At the present moment Rm {William Robotham - Chief Engineer} /Les. finds that your cars are if anything low at the front from the buffer clearance, but as we cannot reconcile this with their appearance and poor driving visibility, the correlation of your measurements with those on the attached blueprints should show up any difference, if such exists.
