X.3642 RE SILENCER ELBOW E.2240. X.3486

With reference to Wd {Mr Wood / Mr Whitehead} /Ms12/FJ24.3.20, passed herewith to Da {Bernard Day - Chassis Design} , together with note from Mr. Bullough, this matter was brought before the Progress Committee some time ago and it was decided that it would be preferable to attempt a modification for the design and Mr. Day was therefore asked to go into this for submission to Mr. Royce. I believe these designs are now completed. Will Mr. Day please state how the matter stands.
