| Hs {Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} /Rm {William Robotham - Chief Engineer} Y235. To R. {Sir Henry Royce} from Sg. {Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} re Hydraulic Shock Absorbers. Copy to Hs {Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} /Rm. {William Robotham - Chief Engineer} HCr. Du. EF DV RECEIVED 10 JUN 1931 Sg {Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} 4/E976.31 Referring to Hs {Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} /Rm. {William Robotham - Chief Engineer} 4/KT.1.6.31 I note in the last paragraph he says: "In any event having once established the standard load it is only in cases of complaint that we depart from our fixed setting." I presume that all concerned have in mind that our final objective should be the ability to vary the control of the shock absorbers from the driver's seat. This really seems to be the ideal that we should aim for, and I believe you already have it well in mind. Sg {Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} , | ||
