This car gave me a very good ride to London on Friday last from W. I like it more than I anticipated I should. Fast average speed running however was not so much influenced by engine power as by poor power of deceleration. One has to stand on the brakes very hard, and I do not consider them very effective.

Sg. {Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} and Cx. {Major Len W. Cox - Advertising Manager} are coming out on the car with me on Thursday for a further run, and I should like to hear from you by return whether there is anything we can simply do to these brakes to make them more effective.

Thank you for Hs. {Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} 2/MJ17.2.32, being list of modified parts.

PN. {Mr Northey}
