(15) This was agreed to but Sg. {Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} would like to know the extra cost this involves. By. {R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} promised to supply this information.

(16) Agreed.

(17) Agreed.

(18) It was agreed that the now radiator should have thermostatically operated shutters.

The following points were also discussed :-

(a) Bonnet Catches. Sales like the present 25 HP. bonnet catches better than those fitted to the Phantom ll, and they would prefer to retain the present type.

(b) Dynamo. It was agreed that the 20/25 HP. should have a two-charge scheme like Phantom ll and that Hs. {Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} would send on curves of the output of what the machine would give.

(c) Spare Wheel Carrier. This was discussed at some length and the agreement was that the only practical place to carry the spare wheel was at the side. Hs. {Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} is sending a separate report through on this point.

SUMMARY.

A number of features which are proposed for the future production of the 20/25 HP. were not on 18-G4. when it completed 10,000 miles in France. It is therefore essential that a model car of what we hope to produce is got ready and submitted for approval. None of the new features could be ordered up until this has been done. Hs. {Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} said that they hoped to have a car which would have most of the features of the new car, except details, in about a week's time. It was hoped that the foregoing modifications would be got on to the 20/25 HP. chassis on No.101 'T' Series. Cx. {Major Len W. Cox - Advertising Manager} gave a date of October 1931 for these cars to be on test, from the schedule at the Works however No.101 car is due on test August 1931.
