Dear Sirs,

Your Ref: FRS/EW.

With reference to your letter of Sept. 18th. re a test that we are making with a petrol gauge, which was kindly forwarded by you to us, we beg to state that we are now having this fitted up and it will very shortly be tested.

We much regret the delay that has been caused in this matter, but you will readily understand that a great deal of our work has been very much upset by the recent dislocation of trade. We hope, however, to be able to report to you before very long.

Yours faithfully,
