November, 1936. Messrs. Park Ward & Co., 473, High Road, Willesden, London, N.W.10. Dear Sirs, Re Enclosed Limousine 24.C.6. We thank you for yours of the 25th. inst. and for the enclosed prints. With reference to the rear wheel arch, we have instructed our Drawing Office to modify our rear wheel arch detail. In the matter of the discrepancies of the bonnet, we have asked the Production Drawing Office to make an investigation. In the meantime you can go ahead assuming that Lec.5032 is correct for the bonnet shape. With reference to the front pillars, we agree to the trial of 1/2" ply in the place of steel plates, making a saving in weight of 7 1/2 lbs. The matter of the delivery of this body is becoming very urgent. When we visited your Works during the early part of this month (Nov. 7th. we believe) you promised us this body completely panelled and on the dummy chassis complete with wings, running boards, dummy radiator and bonnet and head lamps, for members of the Company to view, from five to six weeks from that date. That brings us to a time between the 12th. and 19th. of December. The Experimental Dept. are asking for this body to be ready, fully panelled and trimmed by that date and delivered to Derby.
