| Copy for files. UNDAMPED FRAME STIFFENER. X7380 Gry. {Shadwell Grylls} and Les. {Ivan A. Leslie} on the morning of 21.4.31. tested 25-EX for jellying. The car had low rating front springs, four sandwich front engine mounting, standard hydraulic dampers. The test was to determine the effect of mounting a 4" dia. tube immediately in front of the radiator to increase its torsional stiffness. No difference could be detected with and without this tube.
