Rm. {William Robotham - Chief Engineer} tried the car with the carburetter in its standard condition, and with our modifications fitted, and agreed to the standardization of our fitments.

The modifications to the standard carburetter are as follows.

½" long tubular extension, inside diameter fitting to existing low speed jet. E.82878.

Diffuser body modifying to attached drawing V.1504.

Plug up .125" Dia. inclined passage from diffuser base to main slow running passage.

We recommend that the above modifications be carried out on all semi-expanding carburetters built.
