| To RHC. {R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer} +209 Hs {Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} /Smth.21/KW. 26.2.35. Supercharged Unit B-12. The Design Dept. have got out a scheme for the supercharged Bentley in which the blower is on the off side of the engine, but above the inlet manifold, into which it feeds directly. We already have a scheme, EX.17268, in which the blower is below the manifold, and very little modification will be required to enable us to test the Design Dept.'s proposal. Hs. {Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} 1800 shows a scheme for this arrangement. Will you please detail and instruct the necessary bits. Hs {Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} /Smth. | ||
