Messrs. Hardy Spicer & Co.Ltd.,
Birch Road,
Witton,
Birmingham.
For the attention of Mr. Done.
Dear Sirs,
This is to confirm that we require 2 of your lightened type Propellor Shafts, 55.450" between the flanges.
One of these shafts should have your standard finish, and the other a superior finish. We should also like to know the increase in cost required to give a good finish.
We are arranging for our Order Office to send a covering order for these shafts.
Yours faithfully,
FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED.
