24th. February 1938.

Messrs. Hallam, Sleigh & Cheston Ltd.,
Widney Works,
Bagot Street,
BIRMINGHAM, 4.

For the attention of Mr.Booth.

Dear Sirs,

Our Press Shop and sheet metal work Supervisor, Mr.Bowers, is visiting Birmingham tomorrow, (Friday, Feb.18th.) and I thought that it would be very useful if he called at your works in order to inspect your equipment for folding bonnet plates to suit your Widney hinge and to discuss the fitting of the Widney hinge generally.

As you know, we are proposing to use your hinge on future new models, and I have therefore asked Mr.Bowers to see you and use this letter as an introduction, and I trust that you give him any information etc. which he may desire.

Yours faithfully,

for ROLLS-ROYCE LTD.
