[STAMP: REC'D 25 MAY. 1936] Rm {William Robotham - Chief Engineer} Re: Dunlop Tyre Supplies for 25/30 HP & Phantom III Chassis. In response to our request for tyres for the 25/30 HP chassis, the Dunlop Company are supplying us with the Dunlop Fort 90/834 Cover and tube size 6.00 - 19", whereas the cover we are obtaining for the Phantom III chassis is the latest Dunlop Fort L.90 Cover and Tube size 7.00 - 18". For your information we give you hereunder extract of communication received from the Dunlop Co. in reply to our requisition, and perhaps in the circumstances you will let us know when we are to order the new Dunlop cover and tube for the 25/30 HP type chassis. "Against your instructions to despatch 200 - 6.00-19 covers and tubes we consigned 50 to you on the 13th inst. and would confirm that these are not of the same pattern as the Phantom III tyres. The necessary plant in this size is not yet ready although it is being proceeded with in anticipation of your requirements. "We should be glad if you would notify us that you also wish to standardise this type of tyre on your 20/25 HP. and 25/30 HP. production so that we may confirm instructions to our Works to proceed with additional plant for this size." D {John DeLooze - Company Secretary} /BP HW By: There is no need for me to do anything further about these types, is there?
