Dear Sir,

I thank you for your letter of the 27th February reference Hs {Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} /Rm. {William Robotham - Chief Engineer} 15/KW., and feel grateful to you for taking an interest in the matter of these brakes.

I will bring the car to your Derby works at 12 noon on Thursday next, March 7th.

I wish to draw your attention to the fact that the central lubricator appears to lubricate the brake linings and the servo.

While the car is at Derby, it might have the standard top overhaul and decarbonization, will you please arrange for this to be done.

I am anxious to have the car back as soon as possible, and therefore should like the work to be completed at your earliest convenience. I also want you to arrange to have a wire sent to me at the above address the day before the car is ready for delivery, and so minimize any delay in the collection thereof.

Yours truly,

Eric Thomas.
