Wellworthy Piston Rings Ltd.,

HANTS.

For the attention of Mr. Blackith.
(Also Mr. Herrington).

Dear Sirs,

Many thanks for your letter dated October 29th.

We are in receipt also of information concerning the following firms, which is receiving our attention:-

Ruston & Hornsby Ltd.
Panhard.
Lister.

Referring to your last letter, reference as above, concerning troubles in manufacture of AC.9, with special reference to the batch referred to having 1.4% copper. The writer would take this opportunity of suggesting that whoever comes to the proposed meeting at Derby, should come well primed with questions, so that no point is left in doubt. It might be a good scheme to have all your points mapped out on paper, so that you know beforehand just what information you wish to go away with. This scheme would simplify discussion and make it easier to supply straight forward answers.

Another point to be discussed concerns the suggested specification of initial "set ups" of trial bearings when dealing with new firms.
