R R. {Sir Henry Royce} 235 A (100 T) (S.F. 846 6-8-19) G. {Mr Griffiths - Chief Accountant / Mr Gnapp} 2460

Contd.        -2-        E4/G28.1.20.

5 Contd. He would also like a corresponding amount added below the piston pin so that the aluminium piston will conform more to the proportions of the split cast iron piston LeC.1186.

(6)    Although it is a matter of very small detail, the axial split in the piston might be made wider and slightly more sloping so as to follow the practice shewn on LeC.1186.
