the
a bend upwards of 3/32" [handwritten above 1/8"] in length of the frame pass the toggle.

I am not quite sure of this [handwritten above 'the'] statement [handwritten note in margin: if one assumes C's toggle] in the first case as the tackle during this test I did not consider very satisfactory, but I am quite satisfied that the other two tests were quite O.K.

I note that Mr Spinney is arranging for further cars to be made with the rear end of the frame having 1/8" initial set so that the frame under load will be the same as the drawing, in the meantime however it appears in the above tests that the clearances are quite satisfactory as stated by Mr Spinney.

These conditions of frame bend may not actually take place when their proper body is fitted, as the load will be [handwritten 'be' inserted] distributed over the chassis more evenly; at the same time the point should be considered with reference to the frame trussing as regards curing body troubles.

This sheet must be filed with the correspondence to which it refers.
