| Hs {Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} /Rm. {William Robotham - Chief Engineer} c. ROY. {Mr H. Royce - Buyer} +323 Sent to Kramer 24/6/36. HH E {Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} /Lid. {A. J. Lidsey} 1/HP.24.6.36. Chassis Costs - Exhaust System. We are handing you herewith some sample spherical pads E.60223/4, manufactured by the Gandy Belt Manufacturing Co. These have been obtained as an alternative to the Ferobestos pieces used at the moment on the exhaust suspension. The Ferodo parts cost 7½d each, whereas the Gandy Belt pieces cost only 3½d each. We think it is worth while trying these pieces out on the next 10,000 mile Bentley, or Phantom III chassis. E {Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} /Lid. {A. J. Lidsey} 1 | ||
