| SG. {Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} FROM E. {Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} X204- E2/M14.3.32. C. to R. {Sir Henry Royce} WOR. {Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} HS. {Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} 9HP. RILEY MONACO SALOON. X.4553 We tried and measured up the above saloon which you obtained for EV. {Ivan Evernden - coachwork} to bring down this weekend, and it must be conceded that the amount of room provided in all directions is ample, and according to EV. {Ivan Evernden - coachwork} agrees with catalogue dimensions. The body is however wider over the door handles than the wheel hubs. EV. {Ivan Evernden - coachwork} will make a layout of the body for comparison with our Bensport(Codename for 3 1/2-litre Bentley). There is one serious fault which will not exist on our car, and that is the steering wheel is not opposite to the driver. E. {Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} | ||
