WRAITH 111 - EXHAUST FITTINGS.
Please receive herewith R.CS.114 scheme showing welding of Expansion Box and Silencer Flanges.
This method of construction is alternative to the previous designs to Ld's 5194 and 5575, and has already been applied on chassis 26-G-IV, which ran for 7000 miles in France.
The welded method is estimated by CAR. to show a slight saving in cost, as compared with the riveted construction.
Will you please detail and instruct the modified parts to be made for future Wraith 111 cars.
