Wraith II - Gearbox.
We send herewith N.Sch.4983 showing the use of an aluminium die casting for the 2nd and 3rd motion shaft rear bearing retaining cover in place of the two separate mild steel covers at present instructed.
The face on the box for this cover must now be milled instead of being faced with a tool in the boring bar. The Tool D.O. (Mr Ashby) inform us that they do not expect to have any difficulty with this operation.
N.Sch.4983 herewith.
E {Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} /HDY. {William Hardy}
