| 1091 (Experimental Dept.) Rm {William Robotham - Chief Engineer} 7/R. 18th December, 1936. S.B. Wilks, Esq., The Rover Company Ltd., COVENTRY. Dear Wilks, Many thanks for your letter of December 17th with reference to stainless steel brake parts; my letter was quite serious. How are you getting on with the propeller shaft with the rubber ends? Can you see any prospects of this being successful? I hope that your piston knocks on aerolite pistons have subsided. Is there any chance of you making a quick trip to the States to get the 'low down' on the progress they are making? I expect to be going the end of January, or the beginning of February. Yours sincerely, | ||
