We have looked into the question of using 61/.036 cable similar to sample supplied, in anticipation of the voltage drop being small and a recommendation made that this cable should be used. Unfortunately, the flexibility of this cable is not as great as our present standard size and this represents quite a serious disadvantage. Further, we should require new cable eyes, larger conduits and the entry of this cable to the main switch will have to be entirely re-arranged. If, however, a cable of this area proves so much better we might have another try to get something having the same area but with more flexibility. BY {R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} /RD. | ||
