Dear Sirs,

Re Enclosed Limousine 24.G.6.

We thank you for your letter of the 3rd. inst. reference CLH/SO.4249, re the above car, and return herewith the pattern of leather and the pattern of head cloth and carpet numbered respectively 2240 and 35A.

We agree to the car being finished with the brown leather with head cloth and carpet to match, the exterior being wholly in black with the addition of a fine white line if this is thought desirable when we view the body.

Will you please go ahead with the finishing of the body as soon as it is available, and at the same time arrange to have for our inspection, when we come to see the mock-up, samples of interior and exterior handles. Whilst we should welcome a selection of your normal solid cast handles, at the same time we would like to see samples of sheet metal handles that are available, as if suitably elegant handles could be found, the saving in weight would be very material. As the Boyriven door stop we feel that by now there may be some manufacturers in this Country producing sheet metal handles for American cars assembled or partly built in this Country. We would be glad if you would make an investigation.

Yours faithfully,

For and on behalf of
ROLLS-ROYCE LTD.
