| COPY S/W. {Sales / Derby Works} EP. {G. Eric Platford - Chief Quality Engineer} LE5/C/29.3.33. Re Phantom 11. Low Rated Springs With reference to your EP {G. Eric Platford - Chief Quality Engineer} 11/H/28.3.33. I note your remarks re Rm. {William Robotham - Chief Engineer} and yourself coming down to try Phantom 11. cars with low rated springs. The position of the four cars you enumerate is that 76 MY. was delivered last week. This had a very high body built specially to the requirements of Sir John Edwards-Moss and it would not have been a reasonable test. 96 MY, is at Hoopers and will not be ready for some time. With regard to 104 MY., Sg {Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} 's car, this will, I understand, be some time yet and I believe it is going up to the Works when the body is fitted. 102 MY. is not yet in London. J.L.E. | ||
