| -2- lever bearing housing and the forgings for the radiator attachment. These modifications are shown on the scheme herewith. Due to the thicker head of the hexagon headed bolts used for attaching the aluminium housing of the central steering lever, the forging of the latter will have to be modified. This will entail resinking the die. We calculate that the thicker pan alone would increase the weight about 3 1/2 lbs. and it is estimated that most of this, if not all, will be saved by the elimination of the steel forgings at the pan attachment to the main suspension. It is not intended that this stiffened pan alone will cure frame movement. A separate scheme will show a cross member behind the radiator to work in conjunction with this pan to overcome the difficulty. Ev. {Ivan Evernden - coachwork} Att: | ||
