This column is for Name of Person addressed. DATE. -3- much will be gained in this way, because with our present small flywheel the clearance of the crankchamber plug is hardly 1/10" more than the lower edge of the flywheel guard. The Committee recommend that we should consider the question of obtaining at least 10 3/4" clearance for our Colonial cars, that is to say, 1 1/2" more than that of our present standard, in addition to the extra clearance obtained by fitting large wheels. In order to obtain this extra 1 1/2" it appears to be necessary to raise either the top of the bonnet, or, the frame and the bonnet together. They suggest that this point should be brought before Mr Royce for his consideration. T.B. Barmyton This sheet must be filed with the correspondence to which it refers. | ||
