In the case of the Rover Stabiliser, the difference in frequency between the loose and tight conditions is of the order of 100/min.

The effect of the tightness of these nuts upon the damping and frequency is a bad feature of the design.

The curves for the Wilmot Stabiliser show that from a frequency of 670/min. to 800/min. the frame amplitude is constant, whereas that of the lamps increase by 100%. This indicates that the lamps must be moving relative to the frame. This movement is probably due to twisting of the individual side members of the frame.
