B.V. RADIATOR.

Before the above radiator is released for production, there are two modifications which we think should be made.

(1) In order to increase the clearance between the bottom edge of the shell and the frame front pan, we suggest that the bottom edge of the shell should be reduced in depth in the region where it runs close to the pan and the number of bolts securing the shell to the front apron should be reduced to two per side, suitably spaced.

(2) Our attention has been drawn to the fact that although satisfactory while the radiator is new and the shutter vanes clean, the centre gap(between the two centre shutters) becomes unsightly and appears unduly wide as soon as the vanes become dirty. We suggest, therefore, that this gap be reduced to .300 by respacing the shutters, keeping the two outside shutters where they are and increasing the gaps between the others.
