| To Rm {William Robotham - Chief Engineer} /FD. {Frank Dodd - Bodies} (For Log Book.) 2 c/o c Rm {William Robotham - Chief Engineer} /Gry. {Shadwell Grylls} 5/MH. {M. Huckerby} 8.6.38. O.B.IV. If the driving seat and position of the clutch pedal and/or heel board were in the same position as J.B.IV this would be quite a nice car. Is the floorboard representative of 'M' series with the overdrive gearbox ? If not, please fit a board from production. The heater is too near the clutch pedal. Other points noticed were :- (1) Throttle sticking. G.R. is attending to this. (2) Too much rear braking. Brakes squeak when cold. (3) Centrifugal clutch makes gear changing at high revs. very arduous. (4) Heater taps are now turned off. Rm {William Robotham - Chief Engineer} /Gry. {Shadwell Grylls} | ||
