15th. May 1923.

Messrs. Elliott Bros.,
1, Central Buildings,
Westminster,
London, S.W.1

Dear Sirs,

About 4 months ago we purchased a non-recording Accelerometer from you. We have not had very much satisfaction from it, and we wonder whether you could let us have one of the recording instruments to try with a view to purchase. We suppose that, should we decide to buy the latter, you would credit us with the value of the small Accelerometer, if we return it in condition as new.

Yours faithfully,
