RECEIVED

20/25 HP. CHASSIS - 2ND. HALF OF 'T' SERIES.

We are seriously considering a material change to the above chassis which would demand the following new schemes :-

1/- (a) Japan(Experimental Engine) 1 head to suit new bore.
(b) Possible new Zenith carburetter. (This is in Hs {Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} 's hands)

2/- Strengthened crankshaft flange.

3/- Strengthened flywheel flange.

4/- 3" diameter propeller shaft.

5/- The new design of equalisers to delete caps to brackets by bolting brackets to each other for fore and aft equalisers.

6/- New radiator to same depth below frame as Japan(Experimental Engine) 111, but with top tank and height above frame as at present, maintaining present form of dashboard, but with provision in form of slot running out at bottom to drop dashboard over steering column. Use thermostat control.

7/- R.W. wheels to suit present axle. These demand no designing- they are made and in use.

8/- Two charge scheme for dynamo, largest output we can safely arrive at with deleted taping &c.
We are to send curves of output as proposed to Sg. {Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} as soon as we can fix them definitely.

9/- Spare wheel carrier at sides only to accommodate bonnet carried well over dash by say 6" to 8" more.

10/- Will BY {R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} /HER. get me extra cost of coupling axles to Bijur. It is very small, only the new coiled pipe with its special requirements. Let Cost Dept. have the new drawings to cost up on.
