EXPERIMENTAL DEPARTMENT.

Rm {William Robotham - Chief Engineer} /CTS. {C. Trot Salt - Carburation} 9/JH.

8th August, 1938.

S.Smith & Sons (Motor Accessories) Ltd.,
Cricklewood,
London.N.W.2.

For the attention of Mr. Grosé.

Dear Sirs,

We have received today one Automatic jet control to your Code No.X.29963 as per your letter ref. S.10.

It appears however that this instrument is identical with the one originally supplied, except perhaps for the method of internal seal.

As we have been delaying the start of a series of experiments, in order to make use of a smaller thermostat originally mentioned by you at our works some weeks ago, we would be obliged if you will confirm that such an instrument can be supplied.

Yours faithfully,

FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LTD.
