Wraith II Flywheel.
We send herewith N.Sch.4882 showing the flywheel for this car.
There are the following/principal differences between this design and the standard 25/30 HP. flywheel.
(1) The starter ring is a loose piece.
(2) The flywheel is of cast iron instead of steel.
(3) Bolts secure the clutch to the flywheel instead of studs.
(4) The bearing for the front end of the 1st motion shaft is now a standard size.
(5) The housing for the bearing is formed in the flywheel instead of in a separate piece.
(6) The balancing scheme shown by L&C.6235 for the Phantom III is incorporated.
Compared with our previous drawing N.Sch.4838 the 1st motion shaft is .175" shorter. This reduction in length is made to facilitate the assembling of the gearbox unit in the car.
