Birmingham.

For the attention of Mr.Skinner.

Dear Mr.Skinner,

Thank you for yourletter of Sept.16th.

The carburetters we are using on the 20/25 HP. are 1 3/8" throttle diameter. They are actually two we took off a 4 litre Bentley. They have that horrible eccentric mixture adjustment, and if you are going to let us have two new carburetters, will you please include your standard fitting for this feature.

With regard to the 40/50, we are not doing a great deal of experimental work on carburation, and therefore, I think it will be best if you agree to let us have the new pistons on the 1 3/8" diameter piston carburetters D.39613/4, which you supplied us in June. These are running about daily, and therefore would give us an opportunity of testing out your modified piston.

Yours faithfully,

FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED.
