| To C. From Hs. {Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} c. to Cx. {Major Len W. Cox - Advertising Manager} I understand from RHC. {R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer} that when the car was in London yesterday for the purpose of shewing the Smith patch, you tried the gearbox for getting into first speed. We should like to point out that the gearbox on 19-G4. is the old original type of synchro-mesh before we altered the type of reverse, and on that car we know there is no difficulty in getting on to first speed.
