JAPAN(Experimental Engine) III.
If it is convenient to you all, I should like to hold a conference at 3.30 p.m. on Wednesday (4th inst.) on the progress of this job.
According to the original programme laid down, we ought to have had all the big pattern drawings from PW by the end of February.
I know we have not received them, but I think, in the main, much progress has been made and that we shall get them fairly soon.
I think our task is to find ways and means of still keeping to our programme, and also to find the best possible means of greater simplicity of parts, so as to achieve our object of selling cars.
Will you please prepare for this conference anything that will be of interest to report on progress.
Wor. {Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager}
