Dear Sirs,
For the attention of Mr. Salt.
We are in receipt of your letter of the 10th instant, but we are sorry to say that we are unable to send by return the 1 5/8" carburetter. This will, however, be sent to you on Tuesday next (possibly Monday) and we trust that it will be in time for your requirements.
Unfortunately, the only casting which we had in stock had been drilled. We have had it plugged, however, and trust that you will have no objection to using it.
Assuring you of our best endeavours,
Yours faithfully,
for THE S.U. COMPANY,
Harris.
