We have after getting the normal load right on the dampers, i.e. 40 lbs. been checking up the progressive loads. The front O.S. damper was not progressing after 85 lbs was reached. We found the trouble was the valve sticking being too tight on the stem.

The following figures are the progressive loads.

FRONT.

M.P.H. | PUMP.PRESSlbs o" | DAMPER LOAD.
| min. | max. | NS. {Norman Scott} | OS.
| | | min. | max. | min. | max.
-------|-----------|-----------|------|------|------|------
10 | 1.5 to 2 | 10 | 40 | 75 | 40 | 75
20 | 4 | 12 | 55 | 80 | 50 | 80
30 | 6 | 13 to 14 | 60 | 85 | 60 | 85
40 | 8 | 15 " 17 | 65 | 90 | 65 | 90
50 | 10 | 17 " 19 | 70 | 95 | 70 | 95
60 | 12 | 20 " 22 | 75 | 100 | 80 | 100
70 | | 22 " 24 | | 105 | | 105

We shall have to take the rear dampers down again as the load does not increase above 70 lbs. taken at the end of the lever.
