Broken soldered joints on Bijur supply pipes with a recommendation for brazing.

We have found the bijur supply pipe on the rear spring, feeding the rear axle brake shafts, out of action due to the soldered joint having broken apart. The same thing has happened with the bijur pipe on 19.G.IV. feeding the front axle, this soldered joint had broken. It would appear to be preferable to braze the joints of the two respective feed pipes as there is a fair amount of stress taken place in working the flexible coil by the movement of the road springs.

We shall be pleased to have a reply at an early date.
