WRAITH III. FRONT SUSPENSION REBOUND BUFFER.

It has been reported that the rebound buffer on the Wraith III. front suspension shown on N.Sch.4847 is inadequate to stop the upper triangle levers from fouling the pot. It is also reported that if the rebound buffer plate were made flat so lowering the rebound rubber .425", the triangle levers would be stopped in approximately the position called for in the designs as maximum rebound. It would appear to us that if the proposed change is effective, the rubber when compressed is spewed out to a thickness of .150, and we doubt whether it will live long with such treatment.

If this fails we suggest that a rebound stop similar to that shown on N.Sch.5030 for Ph.III. be tried.

Will you please instruct the proposal for the straight plate for the rebound buffer.
