To HPS. {Horace Percy Smith - Experimental Factory Mgr} from Rm {William Robotham - Chief Engineer} /Std.

26.G.Vl. {V. Lewis / Mr Valentine} Car - Fan.

The 5 blade fan for Wraith has been finally revised as shown on ECD.243 scheme - it has been brought .375 nearer matrix, the radiator inlet pipe has been modified in order to permit full adjustment of the fan to be obtained, while small modifications have been made to the flange and blades.

Production are going to produce their fans to the new scheme, at any rate for the last four sets, except that the radiators already built will retain their existing inlet pipes.

We think that 26.G.Vl. {V. Lewis / Mr Valentine} should have the final fan fitted for the 15,000 miles test - will you therefore please produce one set of parts to ECD.243 and fit it to 26.G.Vl. {V. Lewis / Mr Valentine} car - since the driving pulley is unaltered, this can be done at any stage in the car's progress without in any way delaying it.

Will you also, please produce three sets of adaptors and bolts to EXS.315, and K.3514 (bolts) to enable us to run the fan in the forward position with the three sets of 5 blade fan parts which you are already completing.

Will you also please produce one filler cap to EXS.126 and washer to EXS.35 but in hard rubber (glycol resisting, of approx. 80-90 durometer hardness) for trial on this car.

Rm {William Robotham - Chief Engineer} /Std.
