I have received the following telegram from R:

DELIGHTED TO LEARN ENTHUSIASM RE JAPAN(Experimental Engine) AGREES TO SPECIFICATION EXCEPT BANJO BACK AXLE REASON IN LETTER IN POST KINDLY REPEAT DERBY AND SILVERKING.

I suggest that this new design should be referred to as "Japan(Experimental Engine)" but, if that name by itself is likely to cause confusion because there have been one or two former designs of "Japan(Experimental Engine)" started, we could call it "Japan(Experimental Engine) II".
