WRAITH III - REAR HUB. G.CD.160.
section 6170.

Please receive herewith the following scheme :-

G.CD.271 Modn. to Brake Drum End Plate to suit hubs GW.1645/6.

The alteration to the shape of the end plate GW.1850 is necessary to ensure adequate clearance for the hub shell of the wheel when fitted on the old type hubs GW.1645/6. The modification to the end plate is required for experimental purposes only, but since dies are being ordered, it will be equally applicable to production chassis.
On any chassis fitted with hubs GW.1645/6 the track of the rear wheels will be reduced by .500 i.e. to 59.000.
