E. {Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} T. Treywin, Esq.,
Rolls-Royce Ltd.,

CREWE.

Dear Mr. Treywin,

Thank you for your letter of 28th December, and I must admit that I am not altogether surprised at your comments regarding the proposals for the new type of push button.

I am having further discussions with the Tool Design Department, to see if there is some way of overcoming the difficulties in making the knob without the need for a polishing operation, and I will be in touch with you again in a few days' time.

Yours sincerely,

W. CROSSLAND,
Chief Engineer.
