STARTING CARBURETTOR. B.V.

The starting carburettor instructed for production on B.V. had a serious defect in that it freezes up in cold weather.

Various schemes were tried and were reported on in Rm {William Robotham - Chief Engineer} /TAS. {T. Allan Swinden} 14/JH.21.2.40.

We have now decided that Scheme 1. shown on print S.140 attached to this Memo. will be fitted to the 15 B.V's which are being produced and sold to customers and Swinden will be handing you the model off S.B.V. in due course.

Will you please detail this.
