| EXTRACT FROM LETTER From: DOVER LIMITED. NORTHAMPTON FWW/AA {D. Abbot Anderson} ROY {Mr H. Royce - Buyer} /AW15/IN Nov.22nd.1928 "You will remember that when we were speaking to "you in regard to the covering of the rim of the last mentioned "wheel, we stated that the section of the finished wheel would "come out a little smaller than your size owing to the fact that "we had made the rim tools to suit the moulded Exonite covering "but for the odd samples we should have to do them by the same "process as the 18" - F55175 wheels. We were however able to "get over this by putting on a thicker covering than usual "so that we think you will now find that the rim is practically "identical section to what it would be when we make the moulds. "The only thing is that the finger grip knobs are of course not "quite so pronounced as they would be when moulded. "We hope however that you will find this sample give "you complete satisfaction and shall be pleased to hear from you "at your convenience. ---o0o--- ENCLOSURE Nº 152 "JUSTSO" | ||
