PROPELLER SHAFT.

We have solved the reason why the rear universal joint fouls and continually leaks. With the adoption of the controlled dampers we get the condition when running with the minimum control of very little radius control of the axle, consequently when the brakes are applied the axle is pulled round considerably and the universal joints are not made to cope with this extreme condition, consequently they are leaking and straining the joints.

There has been an epidemic in the Test Dept. of the joints leaking and the above will have been the cause. There must be a number of cars in customers hands that are running in the same condition.
