SERVO JAGGERS.

Hs {Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} 1/LG16.12.25.

We omitted to mention in our Hs {Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} 2/LG7.12.25. that we have tested the scheme given in DA {Bernard Day - Chassis Design} 's N.sch.2075 in which a spring is fixed to the balancing lever. We did not find this successful in overcoming servo jaggers.

We recommend that we arrange for a small amount of flexibility in the engagement of the servo as we have proved that this will definately overcome the fault!
