| [redacted stamp] c. Rm. {William Robotham - Chief Engineer} ------ 646 DA. {Bernard Day - Chassis Design} 2/G.9.11.37. WRAITH - FRONT SUSPENSION AND STEERING. It has been found that reducing the castor angle of the front pivots improves the Wraith steering. We therefore wish to machine the pivots to drawing No. Ex.S. 82 and 82A, print attached, at any rate for the first 6 chassis. Would you please instruct this on the detail drawing. A further improvement has been found to result from reduced rating in the side steering tube springs. Particulars of the new springs are given on Rm {William Robotham - Chief Engineer} /FJH. {Fred J. Hardy - Chief Dev. Engineer} 10/AP.8.11.37. Would you please make a drawing of these springs from this information, and instruct. DA. {Bernard Day - Chassis Design} | ||
